Health, Safety and Human Rights Policy

We comply with social norms, respect human rights and strive to provide a pleasant working environment for employees.

  • We comply with laws and regulations that protect society and workers, including labor standards and industrial health and safety standards.
  • We ensure the utmost care when storing and handling chemical substances and endeavor to improve and enhance the working environment.
  • We respect the human rights of employees and strive to create a workplace that embraces individuality.

Safe Handling of Chemical Substances and Industrial Health and Safety

Being dedicated to complying with legal protocols, we are equipped with the necessary hardware and comply with standards for handling dangerous and hazardous substances.

To ensure health and safety, we also conduct regular industrial health and safety activities at each workplace and carry out regular inspections and improvement efforts. We perform periodic fire and emergency drills at individual workplaces, as well as conducting such activities jointly with the local community.

Akoh Factory: We received the Award for Progress in Occupational Safety and Health (the Fiscal 2016 Occupational Safety and Health Award from the Aioi Labor Standards Bureau) as a site focusing on occupational safety and health.

A Friendly Workplace Where Women Can Thrive

To create an environment in which male and female employees can work together with peace of mind, we have introduced systems for the development of the next generation and the promotion of female employees.

Enhancing Our Training and Welfare System

Our training curriculum includes a variety of correspondence courses available to all employees and overseas training programs for qualified newly hired employees.

We are also putting an effort into our employee welfare programs by encouraging festivals, social gatherings and club events at individual workplaces.

To promote the ongoing mental and physical health of our employees, we work with an outside organization, T-PEC Corporation, to conduct health assessments as part of our employee assistance program.
