The earnest support of everyone involved with Sakamoto Yakuhin Kogyo since its founding in 1947 has been a gift that has propelled the company to attain its present success. I would like to express my gratitude to all of you for this unflagging support.
The company started as a purveyor of chemical products. In 1953 we began production of glycerin and since that time have made the production and marketing of glycerin our core business. At the same time we have expanded the scope of our activities to encompass the production and sale of food additives, cosmetics materials, epoxy resin modifying agents, and flame retardants, as well as the sale of synthetic resin materials and a resin coloring and compounding business.
We launched our overseas business activities when we established our Philippine plant in 1990 for the purpose of ensuring a stable supply of glycerin. We are considering using our Philippine plant as a springboard to expand our overseas operations and launch marketing activities to the United States.

We have three production bases in Japan: the Ako factory, Senboku factory, and Daito factory. All three plants implement environmental protection measures that conform to the needs of society.

We are committed to redoubling our efforts at product development, production, and marketing in the coming years to respond to the requirements of our customers. On behalf of everyone at Sakamoto Yakuhin Kogyo I request your continued guidance and support for our efforts.
